Who Are We?
Henri and Jan are a couple that live and work in the UK who are lucky to enjoy regular holidays and short breaks mainly in Europe but occasionally further afield.
The idea to build a travel site began when we booked a simple cheap package holiday in 2008 to the Costa del Sol resort of Fuengirola.
Once booked we began to look for ideas to make the visit more interesting than just sun and sangria and we were impessed with just how much you can learn about a place from the many travel resources online, especially personal blogs that reveal true hidden gems that some tour operators and mainstream travel operators fail to include in their listings.
Unable to find the time and money to visit all the places we would like it occured to us that we could help filter the vast range of world wide destinations by asking for other people’s stories, experiences and top tips which we then share on the site.
