If you have a taste of adventure then why not make the trip across the Tasman to New Zealand? Here, you can enjoy numerous adrenaline fuelled activities such as bungee jumping, sky diving, skiing and snowboarding. Throw in the stunning scenery and vastly different landscapes across the two islands and New Zealand can really prove to be the most magical of destinations.

If you’re still looking for a beach holiday close to home this year, but are bored with the usual European destinations, then why not try a holiday in Eastern Europe? Whether you make the trip to Croatia, Montenegro, Romania or Bulgaria you won’t be disappointed with what you’ll find. For many holidaymakers the Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach in Bulgaria is becoming an increasingly popular destination as its home to beautiful beaches, everything you’d expect from a beach holiday and boasts the fiery culture unique to Bulgaria. If you feel like you need to ease yourself into visiting new and interesting lands, then a trip to Sunny Beach may be right up your street.
Beyond Europe
If you really want to immerse yourself in the culture of a strange land then making the trip to South America or Asia should be top of your New Year’s list. Whether you feel you want the relaxed vibe and stunning cuisine of Thailand, the history and culture of Vietnam and Cambodia or the uniqueness of China or India, Asia is truly a continent to awaken the senses and show you things you’ve never seen before. If you want to discover the Inca’s, lounge on the Copacabana or maybe take in a football match in the most unique of surroundings, then a trip to South America may prove the most taxing of the options but often the most rewarding.
