The Isles of Scilly is a unique collection of Islands, each with their own distinct character. How to Spend Your Time
For the youngest members of the family, there are the joys of perfect, clean, soft sandy beaches, where rock pools beckon intrepid explorers to find star fish and sea shells. There are also excellent nature trails and horse treks for those who prefer to stay dry. You can hire bikes and take a leisurely cycle by the shores with the warm sun shining in a clear blue sky.
For young people there are scuba diving sessions diving around the old wrecks, or water ski-ing. Exploring the Island’s by boat, with the sea birds following you on your journey is great for photography opportunities. For something a little faster, take a breath taking speed boat trip round the Islands – it lasts about an hour, as does the adrenaline rush.
You can also get active on Scilly with tennis coaching, sea diving, and golf tuition to brush up your skills. If you appreciate art, there are galleries and open studios to visit and travelling there by vintage coach is a great way to see the Island’s. The bespoke sea safaris, with glass bottom boats and fishing opportunities enable you to see Island’s which have protected wildlife and rare plant species. Scilly is also know for its spectacular sunsets – air and light pollution do little to impact on the environment, so you’ll see amazing colours in the sky come sun down.

Scilly has an astonishing 238 Ancient Monument and 130 listed buildings! Classed as a conservation area, there are Garrisons and Castles, including Cromwell’s Tresco Castle, Burial Chambers, exotic tropical gardens, Lighthouses – the list is long and colourful.
