It’s no secret that holiday photos have become something of a hidden art form in this modern world of digital cameras, smartphones and tablets.
It was a simpler time when we took an old-school snapper on our holidays before coming home and taking it to the photo shop to be developed. Once we got the prints we proudly displayed in photo albums, frames and on walls for all the world to see.
These days of course we take a lot more photos than ever before, but they’re all digital and rarely see the light of day. Instead of getting them developed we transfer them from our digital camera to our laptop and never look at them again.
Research has shown that two-thirds of Brits keep their holiday photos consigned to their laptops, tablets and smartphones – something which Questor Insurance’s holiday hotshots photo competition is hoping to change.
The vehicle hire excess and travel insurance specialist is looking for the best travel and holiday photos that the great British public can come up with, and is offering a some top prizes as incentive.
The winning photo will earn the lucky snapper an iPad Mini, while the two runners-up can claim a travel insurance policy worth £75.
All budding photographers need to do to enter the competition is like the Questor Insurance Facebook page and then choose a photo to submit. There’s no purchase or payments required, just great photos!
Whether it’s cruising down Route 66 in America, or taking an unusual taxi ride in Mumbai, there are all sorts of photos we can think of submitting. And the best part is that you can submit as many photos as you like to boost your chances of winning.
You can choose from one of your existing Facebook photos or upload one that’s been sitting on your laptop for years, it’s up to you!
