A Month in Australia
This is a fairly typical travel itinerary:
Arrive 1 November in Sydney – spend a week exploring Sydney.
8 November – catch a plane to Brisbane, travel time one hour. Spend a week exploring Brisbane and take tours of the Great Barrier Reef and the Queensland coast.
15 November – catch a plane to Hobart, travel time from Brisbane about three hours, explore the Tasmanian wilderness area for a week.
22 November – catch a plane from Hobart to Perth travel time about four hours and spend a week exploring the incredible Western Australian places like Shark Bay, Broome and Monkey Mia with the legendary friendly dolphins which have been attracting tourists for years. If you’re lucky and come in the right season, you’ll also see a state 10 times bigger than Texas burst into flower.
30 November – on the plane home with a lot of good memories.
As you can see, the idea is to give yourself a lot of time to actually see these places, enjoy yourself and not be pressured by your own schedule. Seeing Australia this way isn’t even really very expensive, and it’s extremely efficient, because all services are directly connected through the airports and you can get anywhere you want to go quite easily.
